Cavo's beaches are pebbly and sandy, with a sandy seabed, ideal for children. All the beaches are free with umbrella and deckchair hire, pedalos and canoes at the service of bathers. The nearest beach is San Bennato, consisting of soft sand and a gently sloping seabed. After the pier there is the long Cavo beach made up of pebbles and sand in the last stretch known as "lo Chalet". Following the seafront after the last climb, you reach Cala Frugoso, which has a car park for a fee and a kiosk with a panoramic view for a snack with a view of the sea. From here, you reach a real natural jewel, the wonderful Cala delle Alghe.
